Buckingham Palace has officially shut down the rumours of a Kate-Meghan feud
And we’re all VERY relieved.
And we’re all VERY relieved.
Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are two of the most talked about people in the world, something that has both its advantages and disadvantages.
Sure, they have the power to turn independent brands into world-renowned labels by just wearing their clothes (the Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton effect), and they get to live in castles and travel the globe meeting world leaders.
But on the flip side, they are a point of focus when it comes to the dreaded rumour mill.
And this week, it involved their relationship.
There has been speculation around the duchesses’ relationship since Meghan entered the family, with the two women known to be different, but their friendship had been made clear over the year, with the duchesses even attending events as a pair.
Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s planned move to their new home Frogmore Cottage however, rumours have been flying, with the public seeing it as a move away from Kensington Palace - and therefore Kate and Wills.

But while Kate and Meghan have kept a dignified silence amid the speculation, Buckingham Palace chose to intervene, after one story got out of control.
The Sun released a recent story about a reported ‘explosive row’ between the sisters-in-law in the run up to Meghan and Harry’s wedding. The story in question claimed that Meghan berated a member of Kate’s staff, leaving the Duchess of Cambridge furious and prompting her to confront Meghan.
Luckily for, well, everyone, there doesn’t seem to be any truth to the story, with the Mirror confirming that Buckingham Palace has been forced to deny the claims.
In other words - the fight never happened.
Well that’s a relief! Now can we stop trying our hardest to turn women against each other? Thanks.
