Here’s how Kate Middleton is helping Meghan Markle with her family drama
Sister-in-law goals!
Sister-in-law goals!
Meghan Markle has had a trying time in the run and up and since becoming a Duchess, and unfortunately for the former actress, it all seems to surround one side of her family – the Markles.
There was the ongoing drama of whether her father, Thomas Markle, would be walking her down the aisle, not to mention his staged photographs for the press, and appearance on Good Morning Britain, even talking about Princess Diana in some controversial comments this week. Then of course there is her nephew, Tyler Dooley, who despite being estranged from the 36-year-old, named his Cannabis business after her and just landed himself an MTV show for the royal connection.
And of course, let’s not forget estranged half-sister Samantha Grant, who has been publicly badmouthing the Duchess, threatening to go on Celebrity Big Brother and even calling Chrissy Teigen ‘a pudgy airhead’ when she stood up for Meghan.
In short, Meghan has had a rough ride.
It has been reported however, that the former Suits actress has been able to get through it with the help of the royal family, with one particularly comforting presence being now sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge.
‘Kate’s well aware of what Meghan is going through,’a source reportedly told Vanity Fair. ‘Her family has been dragged through the tabloids and she knows it’s not nice. She’s made a big effort to be kind to Meghan and look out for her.’

The source continued: ‘Kate’s made a real effort to be kind to Meghan and to include her. They’re quite different characters but they get along well.’
‘They speak on the phone and Kate makes a point of inviting Meghan over,’ the source went on. ‘I’d say they try to see each other once a week, sometimes with Harry, sometimes Meghan goes on her own. Kate’s really busy juggling three kids; she has a lot on her plate and she has her own friendship group, but she has made an effort with Meghan. She’s been very sympathetic to what’s been going on with Meghan and her dad.’
We’re so glad Meghan has Kate - sister-in-law goals to the max.
