Here’s how Kate Middleton will make royal history when she becomes Queen
And it’s pretty impressive.
And it’s pretty impressive.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are known to rip up the royal rule book, often changing the Windsor way of life with their millennial ways.
From the surprise double kiss on their 2011 wedding day to Kate’s decision to take her own official portraits of her children, the modern couple are not afraid to break with tradition.
And that’s not about to change when the couple - currently second in line to the throne - become King and Queen.
That’s right. When the couple take over as the heads of state, they will also break royal history.
Spoiler alert: it has nothing to do with their Game of Thrones addictions or social media habits and everything to do with Kate’s education.
According to the Telegraph, ‘Catherine will be ‘the only queen of England ever to have a degree.”’

This will make the couple the first ever King and Queen of Britain to both have a university degree - and better still, they passed the milestone together.
Kate and William met at university in 2001, both studying at St Andrews University, and even studying the same course, art history, until William switched to geography.
As with a lot of Kate and William's modern ways, it looks like it's going to stick - and we wouldn't be surprised if Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis follow suit.
