Can we have an invite next year?
This week saw Kate Middleton’s birthday, with the Duchess of Cambridge turning 37, receiving messages of love from royal family members and fans.
36 has been a big year for the Duchess. Giving birth to a baby prince and introducing him to the world hours later in heels and perfect make up would be enough. But she has also had Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, her sister Pippa’s baby arrival and her return to royal duties to deal with too.
Put simply – Kate Middleton deserved to be spoilt, and thankfully, she was.
But how did the Duchess of Cambridge see in her 37th year? Well, with a luxurious tea party.
According to Vanity Fair’s royal expert Katie Nicholl, Kate celebrated ‘privately’, with a royal aide confirming that she was thrown a tea party by Prince William for the couple and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
‘Kate’s not into big birthday celebrations, but George and Charlotte adore birthday cake, so there will be a special tea party at the Palace with candles and presents,’ a source explained to Vanity Fair.

But what did she get for her birthday presents? Prince William has a good track record, having given Kate some stunning jewellery over the years from citrine rings to diamond earrings and Cartier watches, so here's hoping Kate gets something to add to her collection.
We'll have to wait and see!
