Chrissy Teigen just pointed out John Legend's animated doppleganger
And it’s hilarious.
And it’s hilarious.
Chrissy Teigen is known for her hilarious twitter presence, firing off witty comebacks and cutting shutdowns left, right and centre. Her targets are usually Donald Trump, Piers Morgan and any twitter trolls that cross her path.
The 31-year-old model’s most recent tweet, however, poked fun at her own husband, John Legend, pointing out his resemblance to the animated character of Arthur the aadvark in the 1996 kids TV show.
She tweeted a hilarious post of Arthur’s hand curled into a fist, accompanied by the caption, ‘John when you tell him he looks like Arthur.’
Her post raked in a whopping 500,000 likes and almost 200,000 retweets, with her hilarious comparison resonating with all the 90s kids and millennials who remember the show.
John Legend on the other hand, didn’t seem to get the reference, replying on Twitter, ‘@chrissyteigen I haven’t even heard of this Arthur character til now. Was he around when I was a kid?’
Since his wife’s revelation, poor John Legend has had hundreds of memes made about him and his animated dobbleganger.
