Joe Manganiello made Sofia Vergara the sweetest anniversary gift
‘I love my wife a lot’

Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara have been together since 2014, getting engaged on Christmas Day after just six months of dating.
Although their relationship was unusually fast-paced, Manganiello has admitted to having the Colombian actress in his sights for a while, supposedly flying across the country, to New Orleans, to ask her on a date as soon as he found out she was single.
'I was on a press tour when I found out Sofia was single,’ he explained. ‘My friend is an editor, and told me she was about to make the announcement. I got her number from Jesse Tyler Ferguson, then flew to New Orleans to take her on a date.’
The couple got married in November 2015 in a star-studded wedding ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida, with A-list guests from Reese Witherspoon to Channing Tatum and even a performance by Pitbull.
Joe apparently took the ceremony to pledge his ‘eternal love and adoration in both English and Spanish’, and it looks like his romantic side hasn’t wavered.
To mark their one year anniversary, Joe went down the sentimental route, writing Sofia a 40-page book. Yes, really. Our hearts are melting too.

'I wrote her a book as a gift for our first anniversary,’ he explained in a recent interview. ‘It was about how we met, as well as our courting, and was about 40 pages long… I love my wife a lot.'
As for giving other people romantic advice, Joe’s approach is pretty straightforward. ‘The best advice I’ve been given about women came from a good friend,’ Joe explained. ‘He said “When it comes to an argument would you rather be right or happy?” I go for happy every time.’
