Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck may have split in 2014, filing for divorce two years ago, but they are still very much a part of each other’s lives - something that caused headlines last week when they were warned their divorce might not be processed if they stop delaying the paperwork.
This week, however, they proved themselves once more as Jennifer reportedly staged an intervention for her ex husband, with whom she shares three daughters.
Ben has previously struggled with alcohol addiction, and following his recent break up with SNL producer Lindsay Shookus, he is reported to have been ‘struggling’ recently.
‘He’s having a tough time,’ a source reportedly explained to Fox News. ‘It’s unclear what his relationship is with Lindsay and he still has his relationship with Jen. It’s not easy and he’s struggled with staying on a straight path before.’
According to TMZ, Jennifer went to her former husband’s Pacific Palisades home on Wednesday to intervene, reportedly begging Ben to get help, something he is said to have been receptive to, very aware that he needed help.
Jen then reportedly drove Ben to the rehab facility in LA, where he will continue to work on himself.
