James Marsden brought the sweetest date to the 2017 SAG awards
It’s too much.

It’s too much.
The 2017 Screen Actors Guild awards took place last night at the Shrine Auditorium in LA, seeing glamorous A-list couples from all over take to the red carpet.
SAG award nominee James Marsden, however, made headlines for bringing the sweetest date: his teenage son, Jack.
Rather than bringing Emma Deigman (AKA Edei), the British singer he has been dating since 2015, James instead chose for his date to be Jack, his eldest son and blonde doppleganger, turning 16 this week.
James shares Jack with his ex-wife Mary Elizabeth Linde, the couple splitting in 2011 after an eleven year marriage.
The father-son duo took to the SAG red carpet together, posing for photos and engaging in interviews.
‘We’re excited. I’m just trying to keep up with him, the dress, the attire, he wears things I can’t,’ the Westworld nominee said about his son.

Despite being excited to attend and watch his father nominated for an ensemble SAG award for Westworld, Jack explained that he would not be following his dad down the acting route.
‘I’m going to try and do music’ he explained, turning to his dad for career advice. James however replied: ‘He’s a great kid, he doesn’t need much advice, I go to him for advice’ before announcing ‘stay true to your heart and respect others regardless of what business you’re in, be a decent human being.’
We didn’t think we could love James Marsden more.
