Ok, I know it's terribly British to hark on about the weather but faced with 'the beast from the east' and the inevitable onslaught of facebook posts featuring children/animals in snow there’s not much more to proffer than how blimmin cold it is.

I could of course take sanctuary in the fragrant womb of the beauty cupboard but my preferred remedy until now has been to immerse myself in the likes of lastminute.com and mrandmrssmith.com’s finest (strictly lunch hour musings, you understand).
However, with an unprecedented number of text alerts from my bank (head-burying having been my previous financial strategy), this virtual respite from the weather is actually causing more stress and resentment than the escapism it intended.
Until now, that is. Having been busy delving into SS13’s product offerings to help us plan our summer issues I chanced upon a press release for the new Commes De Garcons fragrance Amazingreen, £57, and with it, a link to a rather gorgeous piece of interactive film produced by cutting-edge ipad magazine POST; www.postmatter.com.
Procrastinators beware; the psychadellic embodiment of the fragrance is rather addictive (much like the scent itself) and the mesmeric moving patterns inspired by nature have become my latest bit of rainforest dreaming - without the dent in the wallet.
Just thought I’d share.
