Emma Watson and Chord Overstreet just made their relationship status very clear

That was fast.

That was fast.

The world has spent far too long obsessing over Emma Watson’s love life, though most of that is down to the Harry Potter character that shot her to fame, Hermione Granger.

While HP fans hoped for years that there could be a spark between Emma and the Ron to her Hermione, Rupert Grint, the two were forced to confirm in multiple interviews that they were actually more like brother and sister, breaking all of our hearts.

Years later, we’ve made our peace with the matter, and so when it was reported that Emma was dating former Glee star Chord Overstreet, we were all excited.

Six months later however, it looked like the relationship had come to an end, with a source close to the former couple announcing the news to Page Six.

‘Emma and Chord kept quiet about their relationship at first but they really hit it off,’ the source explained. ‘They spent a lot of time together in Los Angeles and were photographed quite a bit just a couple of months ago.’

Confirming the break up, the source continued: ‘But things just haven’t worked out between them, and they are both now single again.’

Fuel was then added to the rumours when 28-year-old Emma seemed to unfollow 29-year-old Chord on Instagram, although there was talk as to whether she had ever followed him in the first place.

Now however, it looks like we all might have been a bit premature with our mourning of 'Emchord', with the two spotted kissing in Los Angeles last week - less than a month after the break up rumours emerged.

And that's not all. The 'are-they-aren't-they' couple were also seen going to the cinema, eating at a vegan restaurant and doing a supermarket shop together.

It looks like Emchord is officially back on - and we're thrilled.
