Did Donald Trump Jr. just threaten Jennifer Lawrence?

The Internet certainly seems to think so...

The Internet certainly seems to think so...

Jennifer Lawrence has made her views on Donald Trump known from the very beginning, announcing to Entertainment Weekly 'If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world'.

And now that he has actually become president, she hasn't slowed down with her put-downs, even suggesting that Trump could be linked to the hurricanes earlier this year, calling them 'Mother Nature's rage and wrath'.

This week, the actress clashed heads with 39-year-old Donald Trump Jr. after some comments she made about his father in a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The 27-year-old actress explained to Oprah how Trump's presidency has turned her increasingly political, with her 'political passion' now becoming almost 'an obsession.'

'I've got a pretty good speech,' J-Law explained when asked what she would say to the president if she met him. 'And it ends with a martini to the face.'

Like most Donald Trump quotes and insults, J-Law's comments understandably went viral, with political website The Hill tweeting out the actress' put down.

But it seems that not everyone was a fan, with Donald Trump Jr. having none of it, publicly replying to Jennifer Lawrence's comments with what some have perceived as a threat, tweeting: 'I'm pretty sure that's not how it would end...'

'You're right,' tweeted songwriter Diane Warren, joining the Twitter conversation. 'It would probably end with your dad sexually assaulting her...'

Other Twitter users and high profile figures took to their accounts to finish the argument with Jared Rizzi tweeting, 'Make sure you get attorney-client privilege for whatever you're implying on the other side of that ellipsis.'

Hopefully Donald Trump Jr will think next time before tweeting but considering his genes, we highly doubt it.
