Donald Trump wants everyone to know his hands are a normal size
In fact he thinks they're too big if anything...
In fact he thinks they're too big if anything...
From his fake tan to his bleached mop of hair, Donald Trump has given us plenty of material over the years for endless jokes at his expense - with some saying they'll never look at wotsits or the colour orange in the same way again thanks to his questionable complexion.
And don't even get us started on Donald Trump quotes.
Since announcing that he would be running in the 2016 US presidential election however, people became obsessed with analysing the size of Donald Trump's hands, commenting on the fact that they were smaller than average.
This is something that Trump thought he would address at a hurricane relief shelter last week. Yes, really. Timing has never been his specialty.
The argument took force at a debate during the campaign trail last year, seeing Republican candidate Marco Rubio mock Trump's delicate fingers, exclaiming to the audience, 'You know what they say about men with small hands? You can't trust them.'
Never one to take a joke, Trump declared in an interview with The Washington Post during his campaign trail, 'My hands are normal hands. Normal, strong, good-size, great, fine,' before suggesting that they were 'slightly large actually.'

He continued: 'Marco Rubio referred to my hands, if they are small, something else must be small. I guarantee you there is no problem. I guarantee.'
When talking about the feedback that he got following Rubio's comment, Trump explained how people are now surprised at how big his hands are. 'I was on line shaking hands with supporters and one of the supporters said, "Mr. Trump, you have strong hands, you have good size hands,"' he explained. 'And then another one would say, "Oh, you have great hands, Mr. Trump. I had no idea."'
'I said, "What do you mean?"' he continued, before explaining how the fan told him "I thought you were, like, deformed. I thought you had small hands."
Then just in case he hadn't made his point clear enough, Trump went on to reinforce his argument, explaining, 'I mean, people were writing, "How are Mr. Trump’s hands?" My hands are fine. My hands are normal. Slightly large, actually. In fact, I buy a slightly smaller than large-size glove, okay?'
We get it, Donald Trump wants us all to know that he has normal (or slightly smaller than large) sized hands, something he decided to bring up again this week, rehashing old arguments.
While visiting a hurricane relief shelter in Houston, the President decided to bring it all back, drawing attention to the fact that contrary to popular belief, his hands aren't too small. As he donned a pair of latex gloves to help serve meals to the families affected, he struggled, explaining 'My hands are too big!'
Oh Donald - not really the place to settle your score.
