Chrissy Teigen just took on Meghan Markle’s outspoken dad
And the internet is applauding.
And the internet is applauding.
Meghan Markle has not had an easy ride since becoming a Duchess, and unfortunately for the former actress, it all seems to surround one side of her family – the Markles.
Her estranged half-sister Samantha Grant has admitted to ‘cashing in’ on Meghan’s royal status, with speculation that she might be appearing on Channel 5 reality show, Celebrity Big Brother, and her estranged nephew, Tyler Dooley, is reportedly getting his own MTV reality show after naming his Cannabis business after her.
It is Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, however who has made the most noise, claiming to have been shunned by the Windsors due to his repetitive interactions and staged photographs with the press, even appearing on Good Morning Britain where he divulged a little too much about his daughter.
The 74-year-old’s latest public outburst was one of his most controversial yet, claiming that Prince Harry’s late mother Princess Diana ‘would have loathed the way [he has] been treated’, going on to insist that Meghan has cut him off and changed all of her numbers since she married Prince Harry.
‘She’d be nothing without me. I made her the Duchess she is today,’ he reportedly told The Mail on Sunday. ‘It would be easier for Meghan if I died [because] everybody would be filled with sympathy with her.’
While Meghan has yet to respond to her father’s comments, she didn’t have to, with model Chrissy Teigen speaking up enough for everyone.

The 32-year-old is never afraid to speak her mind and call out what she thinks is wrong, and Thomas Markle was no exception.
‘This guy…this guys sucks,’ she posted to Twitter. ‘What’s wrong with him? Let your daughter be happy, please. This is embarrassing.’
Unsurprisingly the comment didn’t go down well with the Markles, with Samantha Grant calling the model a ‘pudgy airhead’, but given the fact that Chrissy raked in a whopping 81k likes on her tweet, it looks like she said what everyone else was thinking.
Chrissy and Meghan - now that would make a seriously cool celebrity friendship.
