We definitely did not see this coming.

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced their separation last year, insisting they had nothing but love for each other and their five-year-old son, Jack, but breaking the hearts of fans across the world.

Anna Faris opened up about the separation at the time, getting real about her heartbreak, but Chris remained tight-lipped on the subject, only addressing the pains of his split during a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly in April.

‘Divorce sucks,’ the 38-year-old actor explained. ‘But at the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much. And we’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another.’

He continued: ‘It’s not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better.’

Now that the dust seems to have settled, it looks like the couple are moving on, with the Guardians of the Galaxy star seemingly photographed on a date with a well-known woman this week.

Who is the new woman in Chris Pratt’s life? Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Yes, you guessed it - the eldest daughter of actor/ politician Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The two were seen on a picnic date in Santa Barbara, California, over the weekend, with rumours emerging that the pair are dating.

But, who is Katherine Schwarzenegger? Katherine is the 28-year-old daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger, not to mention author and blogger in her own right.

‘We’ll always have each other and be incredible friends,’ Anna, who is currently dating cinematographer Michael Barrett, explained in an interview with Entertainment Weekly about the split. ‘There is still so much laughter in our lives together, and he is proud of me, still. We watched each other grow and he still cracks me up all the time. And I think I crack him up – unless he’s a really good actor and great at faking laughter.’
