J-Lo, Brad and Angelina, Scarlett Johansson – they’re all very famous faces and known for their endeavours in the arts. But did you know they’re also at the helm of some pretty successful business ventures too?
Read on for some of your favourite celebrities’ side hustles, from wineries to popcorn shops. Ah celebs, they’re just like us. (Sort of.)
Beyoncé: Fashion
In 2016 Queen Bey launched Ivy Park, a line of activewear and athleisure. The name is inspired by the park in which she used to run in her Texas hometown, her favourite number, four (IV in roman numerals) and the name of her eldest daughter, Blue Ivy.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie: The wine business
They may no longer be one of Hollywood’s power couples, but Brad and Ange are still in business together thanks to their French vineyard in their Miraval chateau. Despite splitting in 2016, they are still producing wine, and their vintage rosé has previously been listed as one of the world's best.
Jennifer Lopez: Beauty and fragrance
Having just starred in the unmissable new comedy Second Act, in cinemas 25th of January, J-Lo is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in film and music. But aside from that, we'd go out on a limb and say that her fragrance, Glow, is possibly the most famous celebrity fragrance on the beauty market. She also recently partnered with Inglot Cosmetics to launch her own make-up line.

Scarlett Johansson: Fancy popcorn
Yep, Scarlett Johansson realised her dream of opening a popcorn shop in Paris in 2016, along with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac. 'Yummy Pop' offers a variety of different flavours, from the traditional like chocolate, to more unusual options like truffle and parmesan. Scarlett’s personal favourite? Nutella and salted caramel. Divine.
Ellen DeGeneres: Accessories and music production
Ellen set up her lifestyle brand, ED by Ellen, in 2015, selling a mixture of clothing, accessories and home items – but that’s not her only side hustle, folks. She also has her own record label, Eleveneleven, founded in 2010.
Who knew the A-list had such wide-ranging CVs?
Second Act sees Maya Vargas (Jennifer Lopez) get a second chance at her dream career when she lands a role as a consultant at a top Manhattan cosmetics firm. Her ambition? Real. Her CV? Not so much… Find out if she can pull it off when Second Act hits cinemas January 25th.
