Revisit these A-list couple red carpet debuts...
It's the ultimate mark of commitment for celebrity couples: the red carpet debut. But which duos are still owning the red carpet these days?
It's the ultimate mark of commitment for celebrity couples: the red carpet debut. But which duos are still owning the red carpet these days?
For us mere mortals, navigating DTR (that's 'define the relationship' for the uninitiated, K?) situations with whoever you're dating can be a complicated and cringe-worthy task defined by awkward 'where are we?' conversations, uncomfortable party moments - 'So, what are you two then?' - and premature use of the 'girlfriend' label.
#awks.
For celebrities, however, the ultimate sign of commitment to your new partner comes in a far more glamorous form: making your red carpet debut together.
Take Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears and their show of dedication by rocking up to the 2001 American Music Awards together, wearing matching denim outfits. Our teenage 90s hearts were convinced they'd go the distance - couples who dress together, stay together after all, right? - but it wasn't meant to be.
Or Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, who made their first public appearance at the Emmy Awards in 1999, with Jen's butterfly hair clips and Brad's wrap-around sunglasses.
Have we mentioned how much we miss the 90s?

For a lucky few however, the momentous red carpet debut can be a relationship game-changer. Just look at Will and Jada-Pinkett Smith who first stepped out hand-in-hand at the 1996 premiere of The Nutty Professor, and are still a red carpet power house to this day.
Posh and Becks, as they were affectionately known back then, made there's at a Versace store opening in 1999, leather-clad and looking like they'd stepped out of The Matrix. Flash forward 17 years and four beautiful kids later, the two are still looking loved-up on the world's red carpets.
So without further ado, we revisit some of the celebrity couples that are still going strong on the red carpet, with a look at their red carpet debuts and how they're rocking it in the present day.
(And p.s. brace yourself for A LOT of *interesting* 90s 'dos)
