Gerrard Gethings’ new exhibition features gorgeous celebrity pooch portraits. But can you guess which dog belongs to which celebrity? By Sian Parry
Privileged pooches can t throw benefits for their less fortunate friends. So renowned animal photographer Gerrard Gethings is giving them a helping paw. Having taken portraits of dozens of celebrities dogs companions to people like Daisy Lowe, Elle McPherson and Mark Ronson the portraits are now being auctioned online to raise money for the Dog s Trust. This online auction comes with an accompanying free exhibition, The Company Of Dogs, opens March 21 at the Gallery, 81 Leonard Street, London EC2. It s being done in conjunction with PetsPjyamas, a chic online doggie shopping destination (we can t believe they didn t call it Pet-a-Porter either.) But if you re popping by, be prepared: alongside the celeb pet portraits are gorgeous photos of dogs currently looking for new homes with the Dogs Trust. So you may just come home with a new four legged friend...
