And it's not what we expected...
And it's not what we expected...

After watching Prince Harry and Meghan Markle get steadily more serious this year, fans everywhere (ourselves included) are low-key convinced that a Prince Harry and Meghan Markle engagement announcement could come at any minute. After all, the two are going to be living together, so it's not much of a stretch to assume a proposal is impending.
Amid all the speculation and media coverage, Buckingham Palace finally made a statement yesterday, addressing the rumours Prince Harry put a ring on it. While what they had to say is not satisfying in the least, we did get a good chuckle from it.
According to Hello!, Buckingham Palace officials say they will ‘not give a running commentary on Harry's love life.’ But that's exactly what we need!
At this point, we really don't know what to believe. Some sources say the couple is already engaged. Others report the proposal is coming over the holidays or even at the beginning of 2018. To add to the confusion, it recently surfaced that bookies have stopped taking bets on when the announcement is coming, according to Hello! — do they know something we don't?
We're just going to have to wait and see!
