Bella Hadid and The Weeknd have had a turbulent ride of a relationship, with their on again off again romance seeing them break up in November 2016 after a year and a half of dating, before rekindling their relationship in July 2018.
But after the couple made it through the awkward Met Gala and runway show run-ins and had come out the other end, it seems that according to reports, they have gone their separate ways.
Today, the couple made news however as it was reported by E! that they had broken up, with a source telling the publication, ‘Bella and Abel have split’.
But why? According to the source, their busy schedules and the distance between them are the key reasons.
‘They are in different places right now, physically and mentally,’ the source reportedly told E!. ‘Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut.’
The source continued: ‘They have been arguing a lot recently. [They] haven't spent quality time together in months.’
