The whole world was talking about former couple Bella Hadid and The Weeknd earlier this week, after reports emerged that the two were seen kissing all night at a Coachella after-party.
The ex couple split in November 2016 after dating for over a year, with The Weeknd (or Abel Tesfaye) going on to date Selena Gomez until October 2017.
With Selena since rekindling the spark with her ex Justin Bieber, fans got excited this week when it looked like The Weeknd might have done the same – speculating that Bella and The Weeknd might be getting back together.
21-year-old Bella however was quick to quash the rumours, releasing the simple statement to her social media, 'It wasn't me.'
‘It was my first break up – and so public,’ Bella explained in a cover interview with Teen Vogue last year. ‘As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it’s always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily. It’ll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you pull through.’
She continued: ‘I’ll always respect him, and I’ll always love him. Sometimes you want to be sad about it or handle it differently, but at the end of the day, you never want to burn a bridge that you’ve fought so hard to build.’
