23 of Barack Obama's funniest moments in office ever
As the Commander-in-Chief heads into his final year of office, we take a look back at some of Obama's funniest one liners
Hilarious.
Obama isn't just one of the coolest presidents the US ever had, he's also one of the funniest.
Okay so maybe his one-liners were a bit middle-aged and definitely relied heavily on a lot of political in-jokes, but compared to the last guy in The White House, Barack had them rolling in the aisles. Intentionally.
To celebrate Barack's time as President of the United States, we've compiled some of Barack Obama's funniest moments over his eight years in office.
When he cracked dad jokes on Thanksgiving
At his final Thanksgiving turkey pardon in office, there was no stopping President Obama from cracking dad joke after dad joke. Our personal favourite? 'We should also make sure everyone has something to eat on Thanksgiving. Of course, except the Turkeys, beause they're already stuffed.'
LOL.
Watch Obama's side-splitting jokes below – we defy you not to laugh.

When he read out mean tweets about himself
Barack Obama reappeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to read yet more mean tweets about himself. Not only did he reference his previous appearance 'This jeans thing, this is so old. This is years ago,' but he also threw some serious shade at Donald Trump.

When he sang Drake's One Dance (kinda)
Turns out Barack loves Drake. One Dance? More like one word: Incredible.

When he had the best comeback for Zach Galifinakis about only serving two terms

When he slow jammed the news
At the White House Correspondents Dinner on Hilary Clinton's 2016 campaign
'I’ve got to stay focused on my job, because for many Americans, this is still a time of deep uncertainty. For example, I have one friend, just a few weeks ago, she was making millions of dollars a year and she’s now living out of a van in Iowa.'
When he spoke about Vice President Joe Biden
'I tease Joe sometimes, but he has been at my side for seven years, I love that man. He’s not just a great vice president, he is a great friend. We’ve gotten so close in some places in Indiana, they won’t serve us pizza anymore.'
When he owned his public image
'People say I'm arrogant and aloof. Some people are so dumb.'
When Donald Trump questioned his birth certificate
'No-one is happier to put this birth certificate matter to rest than the Donald and that’s because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter. Like, did we fake the moon landing? What really happened in Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?'
When he dropped poll numbers in 2011
'I’ve even let down my core constituents: movie stars. Just the other day Matt Damon – I love Matt Damon – said he was disappointed in my performance. Well Matt, I just saw The Adjustment Bureau so right back atcha buddy!'
When he tweeted for the first time
He's not exactly a tech genius. He only got Twitter this year. But he totally nailed his first tweet.
When he bantered with Bill Clinton
By the time Bill Clinton got involved, he'd mastered it.
When he played with Spider Kid
Over the last seven years, The White House have released candid photos of day-to-day life at 1600 Pennsylvannia Avenue and some of the snaps have gone viral. Who can forget Spider-Kid?
When he kept the kids entertained
Okay, Obama can't take credit for this hilarious shot but a kid face-planting the Oval Office sofa while his parents meet the president had us cracking up.
When he sang the Al Green classic, ‘Let’s Stay Together’
Less hilarious and more, ‘Oh wow, I’m pretty sure I fancy the President’.
When he brought all the LOLs to the Thanksgiving pardoning of the turkey (yeah, it's a thing)
'He is TOTUS. The Turkey Of The United States.'

When the Cuban President, Raul Castro, held his arm up in the strangest way ever.
We don’t know what is going on here - maybe that’s part of the beauty of this moment of immense awkwardness. It reminds us of when our mum tried to hold our hand outside the school gates. We cannot stop watching.
