Prince Harry has just released the first proper photo of baby Sussex
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child together last month, naming their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The couple introduced baby Archie to the world two days later, posing for photographs, but other than a sweet Mother’s Day Instagram, we have been without baby updates and hadn’t even had a proper glimpse of the newborn.
And while speculation has been rising about every aspect of baby Sussex, from Godparent choices and nursery colour palettes to baby fashion brands favoured by the royals, what the public really wanted was to see what the miniature royal looks like.
This is something that the Sussex family gave us this weekend, releasing a photo of the newborn holding Prince Harry’s finger to mark Father’s Day.
‘Happy Father’s Day!’, the caption read alongside the image on the Sussex Royal Instagram. ‘And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex!’
This is the latest update, coming after a recent report that the royals are enjoying lots of visitors, most recently Harry’s Argentine polo player pal, Nacho Figueras.
‘Meghan is glowing and radiant,’ a source explained to PEOPLE of Meghan since having Archie. 'And, of course, everyone wants to meet the baby.’
