And it’s pretty hilarious

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby news has dominated the past two weeks, with the now Duke and Duchess of Sussex announcing to the world that they are expecting a future arrival in Spring 2019.

‘Thank you for the welcome you have given Meghan and I over the last few days,’ Prince Harry announced to the crowds at the Invictus Games opening ceremony earlier this week. ‘I have been so proud to be able to introduce my wife to you and we have been so happy to be able to celebrate the personal joy of our newest addition with you all.’

But it seems that they’re not the only A-listers in town with a baby on the way, with I Feel Pretty star and comedienne Amy Schumer revealing just this week that she and her husband Chris Fischer are expecting a baby of their own.

But being Amy Schumer, the news was broken in the most hilarious and unexpected way - via Meghan Markle.

Yes, really.

The Trainwreck actress broke the exciting news by photoshopping her and her husband’s heads on Harry and Meghan’s bodies from a press shot from the royal couple’s tour of Australia.

‘About to announce some exciting news on @jessicayellin Insta page,’ Amy captioned the hilarious Instagram upload. ‘Please follow her for up to the minute #newsnotnoise she breaks down what’s really going on. She agreed to post a lil noise today for me! Follow her and VOTE!!’

The announcement was then officially made on Jessica Yellin’s profile, who posted a list of Amy Schumer’s recommendations for the upcoming US midterm elections, concluding with: ‘I’m pregnant - Amy Schumer’.

We’re calling it - Amy Schumer and Meghan Markle - future celebrity mum friends.
