Meet the man who ruled the playlist at Beyoncé and Jay Z’s wedding, played for Barack and Michelle Obama at the White House and counts Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Pharrell Williams as A-list fans. Oh, to be DJ Cassidy.

‘DJing for Beyoncé has been a true privilege,’ the New York DJ told us. ‘She is one of the greatest entertainers and gem of a woman.’

DJ Cassidy went on to play at President Obama’s 2009 inauguration and 50th birthday, which he describes as, ‘the most surreal and meaningful nights of [his] life’. No surprises there then. Yikes.
