After ten years together and six years of marriage, David Schwimmer and his wife Zoe Buckman have announced that they are taking some time apart.
Breaking the news, the couple released the following joint statement to E! News:
‘It is with great love, respect and friendship that we have decided to take some time apart while we determine the future of our relationship. Our priority is, of course, our daughter's happiness and well being during this challenging time, and so we ask for your support and respect for our privacy as we continue to raise her together and navigate this new chapter for our family.’
The couple met in 2006 while Schwimmer was in London filming the romantic comedy Run Fatboy Run. Zoe, then an unknown waitress, served the Friends star's table at the swanky Cuckoo Club in London's West End.
The couple married in 2010 and now live in LA with their five-year-old daughter Cleo Buckman Schwimmer.
