Lady Gaga’s new Netflix doc release date and *that* Madonna cliff hanger
'The thing with, like, me and Madonna, for example, is that I admired her always. And I still admire her no matter what she may think of me'
'The thing with, like, me and Madonna, for example, is that I admired her always. And I still admire her no matter what she may think of me'
OK, so we're definitely not wishing summer away (we are British, after all) but we can't wait for September 22nd. Why? Because that's when Lady Gaga's documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two comes out on Netflix.
While the internet may still be reeling from details of Taylor Swift's new album, 31-year-old Gaga obviously decided to steal some of the limelight by dropping the teaser to her revealing documentary on her Instagram.
'I'm known for being larger than life, but really I'm just... #GagaFiveFootTwo,' she's said about what we can expect.
Making its premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, it promises to give a glimpse of the woman behind the costumes and incredible stage productions. It'll explore everything from her relationship struggles to her everyday mental health.
In one clip, the singer can be heard saying: 'I'm alone, every night. And all these people will leave, right? They will leave, and then I'll be alone. And I go from everyone touching me all day and talking at me all day to total silence.'
And in the teaser, she touches on her feud with Madonna, which has been going on since Gaga released Born This Way in 2011 and Madonna accused her of copying her style (namely saying she stole the idea from her 1989 single Express Yourself.)
