Kim K and Kanye's third child Chicago West could have been called called THIS
A revelation
A revelation
By Rebecca Fearn.
There was a great deal of speculation as to what Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's third child would be called. With their first named North and their second called Saint, we were expecting something a little out of the ordinary.
However, we were a little surprised when the couple revealed they were named their daughter Chicago West (Chi, pronounced 'shy' for short) as it didn't seem to follow the pattern of short, one syllable names. The reason behind the name is largely to do with Kanye's memories of growing up in Chicago and his late mother.
Interestingly enough, on a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim revealed their baby wasn't necessarily always going to be called Chi after discussions with Kanye's family about their ideas.
"[Kanye's] cousin’s like 'Miracle' and I’m like 'Miracle West?' That’s like Miracle Whip and that’s like the biggest stripper name of all time," she told her sister Kourtney.
"And then he’s like, 'What about Precious?' and I’m like 'we clearly don’t have the same taste in names." Ouch.
