So much <3 for Zigi
Gigi Hadid may have been busy hosting the 2016 American Music Awards but she still had time to celebrate her British singer boyfriend's 'Best New Artist' award win. Zayn accepted it gracefully with a short-but-sweet speech with a 'this one just has my name on it, right?' (in reference to his One Direction bandmates, obvs.)
And although Gigi and Zayn didn't share a celebratory moment on stage, as soon as he stepped off, fans caught sight of a congratulatory exchange between the pair behind-the-scenes.
Could these two be any cuter? Especially after Zayn recently shared that he cooks up British classics for his supermodel girlfriend including steak and potato pie, traditional Sunday roast dinner and Yorkshire pudding. Yum.
The pair first met while filming Zayn Malik's first solo single for 'Pillow Talk' which starred Gigi in the music video as Zayn's leading lady, and it was known around last November that they were officially together. Pictures of them dating in places like The Nice Guy in West Hollywood started to surface and it all made sense considering that Gigi had broken up with her former boyfriend Joe Jonas a few weeks prior.
The Nice Guy is obviously their spot as they were snapped holding hands there a few weeks later, and Zayn posted a photo of the pair together on his Instagram last December.
And despite facing controversy over her jovial impersonation of Melania Trump (which received a mixed reaction of 'lol' and 'is that racist?') during her AMA hosting gig, Gigi has received mostly praise for her role as co-host. She held her own next to American actor/comedian/rapper Jay Pharaoh, and her job was even complete with five outfit changes with Atelier Versace red shimmer, Roberto Cavalli white lace and Julien Macdonald co-eds. In fact, all the outfits from the American Music Awards were amazing.
