You've been saying this celebrity's name wrong this entire time
Whoops

Whoops
Gal Gadot may have smashed it as Wonder Woman recently but her kickass feminist role sadly only highlighted Hollywood's gender pay gap again as the 32-year-old actress was paid a significantly lower salary for a superhero film, compared to her male counterparts.
And apparently we've also been saying her surname wrong this entire time.
Great.
So while we were all obsessing over Gal Gadot's beauty rules to live by, we weren't even pronouncing 'Gadot' correctly.
The world has been pronouncing the actress' name like 'Gal Gah-doh' but the Israeli actress recently cleared up the confusion on Jimmy Kimmel's show by saying that it's actually 'Gal Gad-dot.' Yes, like 'dot' so you're meant to really pronounce the last 't'.
This comes shortly after we finally realised the correct way to pronounce ASOS, too. (Please don't get us started on how we've been saying these 23 food names wrong, either, or how to actually say 'hygge'.)

And, if your minds weren't boggled enough, did you know that JK Rowling is actually pronounced JK Rolling? Or that Amanda Seyfried is actually Amanda Sigh-fred? And that Charlize Theron is pronounced Charlize Ther-in?
No, us either. Well, there's our lesson for the weekend.
