The Harry Potter films were, of course, based on J.K. Rowling’s book series. And being an adaptation, some plot details needed to be left out. In effect, fans missed out on parts of the book series they would have loved to see brought to life. And they weren’t alone, because the same went for some of the films’ actors, who were fans of the books originally.
Like, Evanna Lynch who played Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films.
Lynch was a huge Harry Potter fangirl before she herself was cast in the films as Luna, which could possibly explain why she’s just so dang perfect. And as a fan of the books first, there is *one* thing Evanna wishes Luna could’ve done in the movies.
In a recent BuzzFeed interview, she discussed how she wished her character could’ve taken to the Quidditch pitch…sort of:

'I wish I could’ve done Luna commentating the Quidditch match, which was originally part of the script. In the first draft of the script I got, it was all there, and then they cut it out. Her commentary was so funny, and to me sport is boring, I just can’t.'
A scene of Luna commentating on the Quidditch match would’ve been hilarious.
Not to mention, it surely would’ve spiced up the sports scenes.
'After a while, you’re just following balls around a field again. It only really gets exciting when the Seeker comes into it and he or she does their dive. But Luna actually made it funny — that’s what I’m wondering about, the players’ personalities and what drives them…So I would’ve liked to do that. I would’ve asked them to put it back in, but I don’t have that kind of power.'
Understandable, but can we use some sort of magic to make it happen now? A Time-Turner, maybe? Or surely there’s a spell to add a scene back into the film, right? Right?!
