Welcome to our weekly beauty product review, where we put everything that lands on our Digital Beauty Editor’s desk to the test. From skincare to make-up, body creams to hair styling tools. Every product is put through gruelling tests to work out whether they’ll match up to your expectations. Don’t know if a particular beauty product is for you? We’ve got it sorted…
The test subject: Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel, £49.50, fabled.com
If you're new to face peels, they're a treatment that remove the very top layer of your skin, which both speeds up your skin's cell turnover and exfoliates it. Each face peel will help with a different set of skin concerns – This one by Murad is designed to restore and brighten your complexion and exfoliate away any dull, damaged cells, leaving you with seriously radiant skin.
Want more skincare recommendations? Of course you do! Look no further than our sister site, Powder - start by finding the best serum for your skin type.
What does it promise? The Intensive-C Radiance Peel is designed to to rescue your skin from various environmental damage, and instantly brighten it for a radiant glow. Recommended to be used about once or twice a week, you apply it to the face, neck and chest and leave for ten minutes before rinsing off with warm water. It's also got a subtle citrus scent that smells divine. So, far, so good.
Does it deliver? Safe to say that we're pretty impressed with this little product. It massages into the skin really nicely, and you experience a very gentle tingling sensation while it works its magic. Once you've washed it off, your face immediately feels soft and firm after the first use, and after a couple of weeks skin is definitely more glowing with noticeable results.
All in all, this is a product that packs a big punch when it comes to giving your skin a healthy glow. We're sure you'll love it as much as we do.
