It's no secret we Brits tend to struggle with any temperature over 20 degrees, but double that and throw in a 14-hour day and you can only imagine how we look.
But, being the professional beauty editors that we are, we need to look polished at all times. The key is to have a high SPF in everything, live by waterproof formulas and remember that little is more when dealing with blaring sun and tropical conditions.
Here are the heat-proof beauty pointers we've picked up so far.
1. A waterproof mascara is a must. When jumping in and out of the sea after each look has been shot, we can't have a black smudge running down our cheeks. We swear by YSL's Waterproof Mascara, £23. Plus, it keeps our eyes looking alive during the early call times.
2. We don't have much time between takes so we need a hardcore sunscreen that lasts. Spraying Lancaster Sun Sport Spray, £15, over wet skin is a great way to protect on the move and means we don't have to waste time constantly reapplying.
3. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser SPF, £34, will even out skin tone and still protect. It looks really natural so no one will know your secret!

4. Knowing the British struggle with the heat, the caring butlers at the Sun Siyam resort provided lemongrass iced flannels. Dabbing this over our skin not only instantly refreshes but helps to sooth any redness. You can easily do this yourself by putting damp flannels with lemon oil into your cool box along with the rest of your picnic.
