Eternal beauty Alicia Vikander not only won the SAG award for best supporting actress for her role as Gerda Wegener in The Danish Girl but also our beauty hearts with her poker-straight hair and glowing skin.
Shock horror, blue eyeshadow is back in according to the SAGS red carpet beauty looks from last night. After being banished to the 90s, the hue has made it's comeback in a big way with Nicole Kidman, Maisie Williams and January Jones all opting to showcase the colour on the night: Maisie and January also doubled up by following the matchy-matchy trend and matching their eyeshadow colour to their dresses.
Another follower of this trend was Viola Davis whose purple shadow perfectly lined up with her beautiful lavender off the shoulder gown by American designer Zac Posen.
Orange Is The New Black star Uzo Aduba - who was looking anything but crazy eyes on the night - also went for the matching look with her green eyeshadow, perfectly accompanying her shimmering Zac Posen dress. The actress won the outstanding performance by a female actor gong for her take as Suzanne Warren in the prison based drama as well. Congrats!
The ponytail also took centre-stage last night and made a red carpet comeback with many stars opting for the classic look on the night. Mad Men's Jessica Paré wore hers low on the neck and in a fishtail braid to showcase her diamond earrings and not to detract from her bold lip, while Amanda Peet also wore hers up high and with a centre parting. The ever effortless Rooney Mara also sported the look with simple makeup, while Kristen Wiig - who was wearing an amazing Roland Mouret jumpsuit - wore her blonde tresses in a pony, too.
A special mention goes to Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka who wore her hair done and in a centre parting with simple make-up to compliment her sweetheart neckline Erdem gown. We wish we looked like that when we were 16!
