The test subject: NARS Audacious Lipstick, £24 fabled.com
Calling all lipstick lovers, this post is a must-read for you. We've found the latest addition to your lipstick collection, and you're going to love it.
What does it promise? A luxurious feeling lipstick that glides on like satin with full coverage in a single sweep across the lips – 'Dramatic depth in just one stroke'. They're all intense colour and depth for maximum impact. What's more, all 40 shades are named after iconic female movie stars (Audrey, Greta, Jeanne), so you know that your lipstick is inspired by some of the best women from history.

So, does it deliver? Absolutely. It truly does stand the test of time, and I found that it barely needs touching up throughout the day or night, whatever the occasion. What's more, it glides on super smoothly as promised, leaving your lips with the perfect finish in a matter of seconds. My personal favourite shade is Bette, a rich, velvety dark red that packs a punch in the drama department. And for a more subtle (but by no means less gorgeous) nude, Raquel and Brigitte are both excellent options. A real winner of a lipstick that gets the Marie Claire seal of approval. We can't fault it.
