The Oscars 2016 best hair and beauty moments are giving us some serious #inspo
It's the biggest night of the year for the Hollywood A-list with anyone who is anyone coming out to celebrate (or commiserate) with their fellow acting colleagues on Hollywood's biggest night of the year.
While the night might actually be about film and all of that malarkey, we've been keeping our eyes on the beauty looks that Cate Blanchett and co. have been sporting down the 88th Academy Awards red carpet.
Brie Larson went for the biggest trend of the awards ceremony season by matching her makeup to her beautiful blue Gucci dress, wearing an inky black liner with a pink lipstick and a sleek half up-half down 'do.
Meanwhile, Olivia Munn also went matchy-matchy, with an orange lip to match her tangerine Stella McCartney gown whilst, nominee Rachel McAdams matched her lower lash liner to her emerald green dress.
Best Actress nominee Saoirse Ronan wore her hair loose and beachy while she kept her makeup look sultry with a kohl lined eye and nude lip. Fellow Best Actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence went for a similar look on the night but kept her centre-parted lob hairstyle poker straight to offset her busy lace dress.
While You Were Sleeping... The 9 Oscar Moments Everyone's Talking About
Kerry Washington was another of the night's beauty highlights: opting for big lashes and eyebrows on fleek (but, 'what else?' We hear you cry). Teaming a glossy lip with a seriously stylish hairstyle - her hair was teased into a sleek pony, with a high-rise quiff at the front. Lady Gaga kept to her old Hollywood look, with a rolled hairdo and a glamourous rose gold eye and big lashes. We likey.
The pregnant (and glowing) Chrissy Teigan looked divine in a custom fishtail Marchesa gown and romantic makeup, with an effortlessly teased long braid in her hair. The beautiful Olivia Wilde also sported a plait on the night but went for a chic and intricate Dutch braid.
