Here’s how you can get Lashana Lynch’s totally chic party look
Perfect for office parties, family gatherings, and festive night outs

Lashana Lynch, Matilda’s new Miss Honey is gracing our December cover this year. For this look, we decided to tap into a classic party staple, gold. Celebrity makeup artist, Alex Babsky, created the perfect look in association with Chanel Beauty. Here is a quick step-by-step guide to help you achieve this perfect seasonal look using Chanel’s Holiday 2022 Collection, with extra final touches included.
Step one: Set your Base
Babsky began by adding a soft layer of the Les Beiges Foundation, £43, in BR132. Known as an adjustable and long-lasting foundation that is smudge-proof for 12 hours. The fluid texture is hydrating and blendable for a flawless complexion. In order to bring a subtle shimmer to the face, Babsky applied the Éclat Lunaire Oversized Illuminating Face Powder, £68, in the shade Cuivre Doré. This satin illuminated powder is infused with bronze sparkles for a natural contour and a soft pearlescent glow.
Step two: Focal Points
This glistening eye make up was created using the Duo Lemiére Multi - Use Illuminating Eye Gloss, £40. For this look, the bright golden shade was applied across the eyelid to create a strong focal point. The transparent gel-like formula holds copper sparkles that highlight the eye and creates a flash of iridescence to the eyes. Using the angled brush, Babsky created a slight line above the eyelashes for a more intense satin finish.
Lynch’s lips were accentuated with a satin shine and ultrawear colour. The colour of choice was the infamous Rouge Allure Laque, £35, in Rose Mysteré. The formula ensures 12 hours of hydration, whilst the rich oils provide optimal comfort for 8 hours.
Step three: The final touches
No party-ready look would be complete without a few extra touches. Babsky included a sophisticated touch of dazzle on the skin by applying the No5 The Gold Body Oil, £85, on the décolleté area. As well as a thin layer of moisture this body oil is scented with the infamous notes of rose and jasmine that make up the Chanel No5 fragrance.
Last but not least, Lynch’s look was complete with one of Chanel’s Holiday 2022 Collections must-haves Le Vernis, £25, in Clair de Lune. For a toned down look, apply a single coat of the nail polish and for more of a vibrant look, apply a second coat.
