Byredo Elevator music collection

*Adds to basket, FRANTICALLY*

Fragrance lovers, we know you’re au-fait with our best perfume for women list but here’s else something to brighten up your day. Byredo’s Ben Gorham and Off-whites Virgil Abloh teamed up to create a collection that has given us all the feels. We love it when two worlds collide (we’re still super excited for the Ikea and Byredo collab) and this isn’t the first time the duo have collaborated , remember back when people were being creative by their Ikea bags, they announced that they were working to redesign the iconic blue shopping bag.

For this collection however, the duo were inspired by Elevator Music, the first of which to drop is a limited edition scent but we can expect a selection of leather handbags and T-shirts and denim too. For those on the hunt, could this be your new signature scent? The limited edition collection is available to buy now from Selfridges and Byredo.co.uk.

Now, for the things you all want to know as broken down into the most important categories (if you’re familiar with our Marie Claire Perfume Directory).

Violet has a grassy green smell with a powdery edge, so expect to smell this first. The next notes that you get are the warm tones of Ambrette (an aromatic plant from the musk family) which when combined with the violet, jasmine and amyris (a woody oil) give the most intoxicating effect resulting in a super sexy scent. For Byredo lovers, if you’re fans of Rodeo and Violet Haze, then this is the one for you.

How long does it last?

4/5

This has a pretty impressive silage and lasted for a good 5/6 hours with the softer notes clinging to our scarves and coats for days.
