The test subject: Clarins Hand & Nail Treatment Cream, £21
What does it promise?
This rich emollient moisturising hand cream with soothing Sesame Oil keeps hands happy from the cold, harsh water and day-to-day tasks. The moisturizer forms an invisible protective glove that shields hands from the elements, keeping skin smooth, silky and minimises signs of ageing. The blend softens and comforts chapped, irritated and sore hands by bringing moisture relief to dry skin. It helps strengthen nails and condition cuticles for naturally clean, soft and youthful-looking hands.
Does it deliver?
Hands age really easy but are often overlooked. This works really well for people who don’t have much time on their hands (excuse the pun) but want to care for their hands and nails still. It smells gorgeous, doesn’t feel slimy and a little goes a long way. Perfect as a gift for someone who has everything, this is a bag addition we refuse to be without. Now the weather is freezing and anything that’s exposed to the cold is chapped in a few minutes, you could do worse then buying yourself this little winter treat. It gets to work on scaly hands and keeps them comfortable and smooth after application.
