Emma Slade Edmondson
Emma Slade Edmondson is a writer, sustainability consultant and host. Writing on race and identity, sustainability and fashion and for publications like Grazia and Eco Age, in 2020 she launched her award winning podcast Mixed Up; An exploration of Race and Identity through the lens of the Mixed Race experience.
Emma has a natural instinct for the questions we all want to know the answers to and is fascinated by the psychology of people and what we can learn from the experiences of others. She is a regular opinion leader across the media including Ch5 News, Steph’s Packed Lunch and Women’s Hour. Emma has interviewed a variety of very interesting people including Afua Hirsch, Lianne La Havas, Ruth Nega, Tessa Thompson and Big Zuu. Her first book ‘The Half Of It’ - written with friend and co presenter Nicole Orcan is an exploration of race and identity through the lens of the mixed race experience and is published by HarperCollins In August 2023.
Her podcast Mixed Up is regularly featured in spotify and apple podcast ‘recommended’ listings and was featured in the British Podcast Awards newsletter in 2022 as one of their podcasts of the month.

Emma has also been named as a Forbes100 Environmentalist and now turns her attention to exploring untold stories that highlight culture, heritage and social justice.
