I am an academic and writer based at the University of Salford, where I hold the post of Associate Professor (Reader) in Contemporary Literature. I teach modern and contemporary writing at every level, and supervise PhD projects primarily on Irish and contemporary women’s writing. I have written for newspapers and magazines, alongside radio broadcasting and literary event hosting.
