Expectant mothers and sociologists are blaming the book for predicted 2013 baby boom
The Fifty Shades of Grey craze has had a massive impact on our lives, and now it seems some sociologists are holding the raunchy book responsible for the biggest baby boom in forty years.

It's also predicted that a large number of the babies who will be born this year will be born in February - directly correlating with the large sales spike of the book last May.
Expectant mothers on chatrooms are also blaming the erotic series for their pregnancies. On forum baby-centre.co.uk women have left comments such as 'Yep we’re Fifty Shades too! Mr Grey’s got a lot to answer for! Ha ha xx' and 'Yep... definitely a Shades of Grey baby... I finished reading the last book on the day my hubby impregnated me lol!'
Companies have also begun stocking Fifty Shades inspired bibs and baby gros, with slogans including 'Generation Grey' and 'nine months ago my mummy read 50 Shades of Grey'.
Author EL James seems delighted at the prospect of a Fifty Shades induced baby boom, saying: 'I have met quite a few women who got pregnant as a result of reading my books.
