Natascha McElhone husband dies

The husband of British actress Natascha McElhone and one of the country's top cosmetic surgeons has been found dead on his doorstep in London.
Martin Kelly, 42, was found slumped at the entrance to the couple's home by a fellow doctor. It is believed he may have had a heart attack.
McElhone, who starred opposite George Clooney in sci-fi movie Solaris and Jim Carey in The Truman Show and is currently starring in the American hit series Californication, is pregnant with the couple's third child and is flying back to Britain, after hearing the news whilst filming in the U.S.
Friends say the actress, who is mother to Theodore, eight, and Otis, five, is 'devastated'.
Kelly was one of the UK's leading plastic surgeons and known in the industry as the 'king of rhinoplasty'. He was also a dedicated charity worker, who formed his own foundation, Facing The World, a charity treating children from poor countries with severe facial deformity.
McElhone's father, the media pundit Roy Greenslade, said the family were in a state of shock: 'It's still a mystery about the death. It's so unexpected. Such a fit, handsome, fighting fit young man of 42. So we are in a bit of a terrible state to be honest.'
He went on to say that the couple were about to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary and had enjoyed a 'fairytale' relationship.

Martin Kelly was a wonderful man and a fantastic surgeon. When he operated on my daughter a few years ago, he was kind, considerate and professional. He's a huge loss to his family and the medical profession. My thoughts and condolences go to them at such a sad time.

I can't believe these comments, as if this tragic death was somehow deserved or Kelly's own fault. Just because these people are successful and in the public eye, it doesn't mean that an event like this doesn't hurt. Spare a thought for the devastation wreaked on this family by this untimely death; not only has a woman lost a husband and partner in the prime of his life, but two small children have lost a father they loved and a third will never know its father. A third pregnancy is hard work anyway, but to have to cope with this shocking news as well is not something I would wish on anyone.
Natascha, my thoughts are with you and your family at this terrible time.

This is very tragic news. However,everything happens for a reason, although sometimes the reason is blind.
