Christian Louboutin releases an exclusive line to celebrate 20 years of the French luxury label
Shoe lovers rejoice! Footwear designer extraordinaire Christian Louboutin is launching a capsule collection of shoes and bags to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his French luxury label.
The 26-piece range – 20 styles of shoes and six bags – are all reinterpretations of classic Louboutin styles inspired by a mixture of cabaret, travel and architecture, which embodies the central themes that have come to define the last 20 years of the designer's work.
Fans can sneak an exclusive peek at the complete line through the Christian Louboutin Facebook page from today, where you can sign up to email invitation alerts to shop the collection first, as soon as it’s available on the soon-to-be-launching European online boutique.
The capsule collection will then be available to buy at an exclusive pop-up shop in Selfridges in London from 27th February, before hitting Christian Louboutin stores from March.
And what can fans expect from the collection? The line features brightly coloured pumps, bow-adorned transparent peep-toe styles and mesh knee-high boots, as well as embellished flats, holiday sandals, feather-decorated showgirl-esque heels and crystal covered shoulder bags.
What’s more, to coincide with the announcement of the collection, the Parisian maestro has released a series of beautiful sketches of the shoes as an extra treat for his fans. We can hardly contain our excitement!
