Posh's new Marc Jacobs shoot
Victoria Beckham has struck another set of bizarre poses for Marc Jacobs' latest advertising campaign.
The Spice Girl has already been shot with her legs flailing from an open carrier bag, poking out from the top of a box, and wearing a series of unflattering looks, including a dark blunt fringe.
The latest set shows a dishevelled Posh in a net-skirted black gown, with a grubby looking tan and oversized pale blue gloves, which look more suited for doing the washing up.
With a slightly vacant look, Mrs Beckham poses uncomfortably, looking more like a stiff mannequin than model.
The latest images come with the announcement that Posh will not star in next season's advertising campaign.
Speaking to The Independent this week, Jacobs confirmed, 'We're using models next season, we're not ready for Kevin & Britney yet.'
Although he did add that the Posh campaign had worked well, saying 'it was a huge success for both of us.'

The picture doesn't do her any favours. About the toilet roll covers... they were nicer than that! yuk!

It's called irony... I like it - it's refreshing to see a designer like Marc Jacobs and a star like Victoria Beckham having a humourous poke at the rest of the fashion industry. More of it I say!

Posh sending herself up absolutely hilarious - or 'major' as she would say. The whole point is she is meant to be like a plastic figurine etc, etc because that's what we all think she is. I think it's genius!! Have to respect the fact that a girl from Hertfordshire, who was in a tacky group (incredibly successful but still tacky) is now a FASHION ICON!!

I think its a fabulous pic - Posh has a great sense of humour and can laugh at herself and the industry .. Marc Jacobs pix are brilliant and very funny!

Hmmm.. is it me or is Posh/cheap the butt of Marc's joke. If you can get someone so keen to be part of the in-crowd why not have a laugh at her expense. I for one I'm LOL-ing at how dumb she is for taking this gig. hmmm but maybe not even if she being laughed at she still gets some press. Man this crappy woman will just not go away. Like a yapping little dog! Yes, she does look like a toilet roll doll.

Victoria has always been ugly with her big nose and bony body, she is nothing just a garbage with some clothes on. I would never buy what she advertises. Sorry the truth hurts. But that's how it is.

She is supposed to look like a mannequin + toilet roll doll, after all that's what models are! If you can't see the humour of Marc Jacobs, you don't have a clue about fashion and to take a cheap dig at how Victoria Beckham looks is a bit low. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge fan or follower of Victoria but I am a grown-up and I don't resort to name calling. Come on Marie Claire readers I expected better!
