Manolo Blahnik FINALLY launches wedding shoe collection
Yes, that’s right, you can pretend you’re Carrie Bradshaw on your wedding day.

Who hasn’t wept at the scene where Big proposes to Carrie (again) with a blue satin Manolo Blahnik stiletto, which he elegantly slips on her foot like the prince that he is?
The iconic Hangisi pumps, with their crystal buckle, were the perfect wedding shoe, and they even ticked that something blue box.
Naturally, Sex And The City fans the world over copied SJP and chose these beauties to walk down the aisle in. It helped that the design was available in several other colour ways, from pale pink to white for the more classic brides.
Given the shoe’s success, it’s a bit surprising that Blahnik never designed a bridal collection. Sure, there have been designs in shades of white, but never an actual wedding line per say.
Enter ‘Married in Manolos’, a curated edit of the brand’s most classic designs, from flats to pumps and sandals.

These include the Nadira, a satin pump covered in crystals, and the Hangisiflat, which comes in a delicate duck egg blue colour.
Each design is entirely customisable to suit every bride, bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride’s needs, from heel height to colour.
An eternal romantic, Blahnik told Brides, ‘Men say my shoes have saved marriages – so now we have a collection to make marriages!’. Frankly, with shoes like that, we’d say you’re off to a good start to married life.
The collection is available exclusively at London’s Burlington Arcade boutique.
