Kate Middleton Plans £1million Nursery Makeover At Kensington Palace

Kate Middleton has reportedly chosen an interior designer to create the perfect nursery

Kate Middleton is wasting no time in ensuring everything is ready for the arrival of her baby and while Kensington Palace has already undergone a transformation to suit her and Prince William’s needs, the Duchess of Cambridge has planned a nursery makeover too.

According to Vanity Fair, the renovations at Kensington Palace’s apartment 1A, (estimated to cost £1million) also include a makeover of the royal nursery.

An interior designer for the new 'baby suite' has already been appointed although the details of the creative in charge and the nursery's design are reportedly on a retainer, so the public will never know how Kate Middleton chose to decorate the nursery.

What we are privy to though is that the Kensington Palace apartment already holds some special family memories for Prince William. He and Prince Harry spent their early years there and no doubt had the perfect designer nurseries as well.

On top of creating a new nursery for her baby, Kate is also planning to renovate Anmer Hall on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate where it’s believed along with Prince William and their baby she will spend her weekends.

The country mansion boasts 10 rooms, including a new garden room as well as a swimming pool and tennis court so there’s plenty to keep the family entertained.
