EXCLUSIVE: Kristen Stewart talks fashion, fragrance and finding happiness

Kristen Stewart revealed to Marie Claire her best fashion moment was wearing pretty much nothing

Kristen Stewart doesn’t disappoint when it comes to mixing up red carpet dressing, be it stepping out of a pair of heels and into her much-loved Converse or looking magnificent in a Marchesa creation.

And while there are endless fashion efforts of the star’s that deserve applause, the actress has spilled the beans to Marie Claire on her all-time favourite red carpet look.

KRISTEN STEWART: I RELY HEAVILY ON THE ACTOR/DIRECTOR RELATIONSHIP When we met up to talk about Kristen's new Balenciaga fragrance for our November issue, the actress told us: ‘I especially loved the outfit I wore to the German Twilight premiere: a see-through paneled skirt over tiny shorts.

‘I was unbelievably cool. You could literally see f***ing everything.’

Cool does not translate into sexy for the star though, she defines cool in a rather different way adding: ‘It’s about being on the edge of something – about not taking the easy route.

‘To be cool is not crippled by yourself.’

Despite her revelation, minimal clothing isn’t something Kristen is keen to continue as she says:

‘After I’d been playing a stripper [in Welcome to the Rileys], I was definitely not wearing enough clothing. I looked back and thought, “That’s so not me,” but it was fun.’

It's evident from recent events that Kristen isn't afraid to be controversial, and she continues with this theme as she tells us what happiness means to her, ‘I’m a miserable c**t,’ she tells us. ‘I’m not sure if I’m most happy when I’m comfortable and content or when I’m pushing myself to the limits. There are such different versions of happy. And I really appreciate both.’
