Cheryl Cole returned to her hometown of Newcastle for an album signing yesterday, and despite having access to plenty of designer clothes, the singer kept low-key and casual for her homecoming.
The Geordie star arrived at the HMV in the North of England wearing a white vest top, a printed jacket, rolled-up jeans and a pair of nude heels.
While her attire may have been relaxed, her glossy locks and flawless make-up added the popstar glamour that we've come to know and love from Ms Cole.
As well as appearing at the music store to sign copies of new album A Million Lights, Cheryl also visited a school in the city for her charity, The Cheryl Cole Foundation.
She tweeted: 'SO to everyone i met today and thank you for all my gifts/early birthday presents ! You're so thoughtful and kind..' (sic)
In the meantime, Cheryl, 28, has revealed that she recorded an entire rap song for the album but that it didn't make the cut for the final track listing.

She told Muzu.tv that her manager, will.i.am, has the rap for safe-keeping.
'Will.I.Am still has the song, so if you want to hear it you need to ask him.
'I think I inspire him. I think you’ll find on his next record I inspire him with my rap masterpiece,' she joked.
The former X Factor judge also put an end to rumours that her next single, Craziest Things, is about her ex-husband, Ashley Cole, by explaining it's about a relationship she had when she was 16.
She told We Love Pop magazine: 'I was in the worst relationship of my life. We swore, we fought, we did everything it says in that song.
'People think it’s passionate and fun, but it’s aggressive and wrong. I was depressed and poorly. I had to end it for my health.'
