Taylor Swift meets Les Miserables producer in London

The country singer has been spotted enjoying the Capital's sights during a business trip

Taylor Swift has jetted into London for a meeting with Les Miserables movie producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh, and she's mixed business with pleasure by enjoying a spot of sightseeing at the same time.

Although an official casting announcment is yet to be made, it seems that Taylor Swift will play Eponine in the upcoming Les Miserables movie.

The country singer has been spotted braving the cold around London where she is said to be in rehearsals for the movie musical version of the Broadway hit, set for release in December.

On Monday the 22-year-old arrived at the offices of the film's producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh and has since spent her days strolling round the City's sights.

Equipped with a brolly, a chunky scarf and a Rugby Ralph Lauren pony hair and Leather saddle bag a cheerful Miss Swift has been papped around Hyde Park and Portobello Road.

And it's no wonder she looks pleased, Taylor had to beat off some very tough competition for the coveted role, in the form of Lea Michele, Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood.

The movie already boasts a star-stubbed cast including Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Helena Bonham Carter.
