Uma Thurman is wasting no time celebrating her engagement to Arpad Busson, and threw a lavish engagement party at his London home this week.

Held in a white marquee at Busson's Kensington home, the party attracted a host of celebrity guests, including, Claudia Schiffer, Liz Hurley, Jemima Khan, Elton John, Sting and Trudie Styler.

The couple announced that they were to be married last week, with Thurman showing of an eight carat diamond engagement ring, which features a further 20 smaller stones surrounding the central diamond.

This will be the third marriage for the Kill Bill actress; she has two children with second husband Ethan Hawke. It is the first for Busson, although he has two children with supermodel Elle Macpherson, with whom he had a long term relationship.
